Insured persons outside Belize

(1) Without prejudice to the generality of any other power to make regulations, the Minister may, subject to sub-section (2), make regulations modifying in such manner as he thinks proper the provisions of this Act in their application in relation to persons who are or have been outside Belize while insured under this Act. (2) Regulations under this section may provide that where an insured person is throughout any prescribed period outside Belize and is not in that period an employed person he shall not be liable to pay any contribution as an insured person for such period. (3) Different provisions may be prescribed for different classes of insured persons. 56
