General Penalty

Every officer or member of the Board or of the Investment Committee who wilfully contravenes or fails to comply with the provisions of this Act or regulations made thereunder, commits an offence and is, unless a higher penalty is specifically provided for such offence, liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both such fine and imprisonment.
