Penalty for employers and employees

(1) Every employer of a business, office or establishment who contravenes regulations 9, 13, 14, 16, 17 or 19 commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of five thousand dollars. (2) Every employer of a business, office or establishment who is convicted of a second or subsequent offence is liable on summary conviction to– (a) a fine of five thousand dollars; and (b) of that business, or establishment for a period of seven days. (3) Every employee of a business, office or establishment who contravenes regulations 5 or 9 commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of two hundred dollars.
