Minimum depth of burial

(1) No person shall cause a dead body to be buried in a grave that is at a depth less than three feet below the level of the surface of the ground adjoining the grave. (2) A person who contravenes this By-law commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to the penalty imposed under section 32(3) of the Act.
