Repair tombstone, fence, etc

(1) Where the Cemetery Keeper issues a notice pursuant to by-law 14(e), and one month of the service of such notice has elapsed and the mausoleum, monument, vault, columbarium or fence surrounding a grave is not repaired, the Council may repair the mausoleum, monument, vault, columbarium or fence surrounding a grave or remove the part of the mausoleum, monument, vault, columbarium or fence surrounding a grave that is in need of repairs. (2) Where any repairs are made under paragraph (1), the Council may recover the cost of repair from the person to whom the notice was served and such cost may be recoverable as a civil debt.
