Overcrowding and infectious diseases

A public health officer shall give immediate notice of the occurrence within the district of any contagious, infectious or epidemic disease, and wherever it appears to him that the intervention of the Senior Health Officer is necessary in consequence of the existence of any nuisance injurious to health, or of overcrowding in a house, he shall forthwith inform the Senior Health Officer.
