Inspection of food, etc

From time to time, regularly and forthwith upon complaint, a public health officer shall visit and inspect the shops and places kept or used for the preparation for sale of any meat (alive or dead) or any part intended for human consumption, or any article or sample of food or drink intended for human consumption, and examine any animal or any part thereof or any article or sample of food or drink intended for human consumption, and if such animal, article or sample shall appear to him to be diseased or unsound or unwholesome or unfit for human consumption, he shall deal with it in accordance with the provisions of any Act, by-laws or regulations relating thereto.
