Penalty for letting infected house without previous disinfection

Every person who knowingly lets on hire any house, room or part of a house in which any person has been suffering from any infectious disease without having such house, room or part of a house and all articles therein liable to retain infection disinfected to the satisfaction of a medical officer of health or registered medical practitioner as testified by a certificate signed by such medical officer of health or medical practitioner is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars. 50
