Infectious diseases hospitals

The Minister may provide at the public expense in such places as he may think fit, suitable accommodation for the reception and treatment of persons suffering from infectious disease, to equip the same with furniture, appliances, medicines and instruments necessary for the proper treatment of such infectious diseases and to appoint the necessary officers and servants, and the places at which such accommodation shall be thus provided shall be termed “infectious diseases hospitals”, and shall be under the general control and management of the Director of Health Services.
