When town or place in bordering countries may be declared infected

Whenever it appears to the Director of Health Services that a dangerous infectious disease prevails in any town or place or district within any of the countries bordering upon Belize, or that it is probable that such disease may be brought into Belize from such town, place or district it shall be lawful for the Director of Health Services with the approval of the Minister to declare by public notification that such town, place or district is an infected town, place or district and it shall be lawful for the Director of Health Services by a like notification to withdraw and declare the same to be no longer in force.
