Interpretation of “dangerous infectious disease”

In this Part wherever “dangerous infectious disease” occurs such term shall be construed to mean alastrim, bubonic plague, cholera, diphtheria, small-pox, yellow fever, and any other disease which the Director of Health Services with the approval of the Minister may notify in the Gazette as being a dangerous infectious disease within the meaning of this Part.
