Powers as to private improvements

The Director of Health Services may if he thinks fit, (a) perform any work which by this Act the owner or occupier of any property is or may be required to perform and which he has failed to perform in accordance with the provisions hereof; (b) perform at the request of the owner any work which by this Act the owner or occupier of any property is or may be required to perform and which he has satisfied the Director of Health Services he is unable to perform and may declare the expenses expended or incurred by him in so doing to be private 97
