Interpretation of Local Authority

In this Part the term “Local Authority” means in respect of any town, district or area the Director of Health Services, Town Council, Village Council or other officer or local authority appointed by the Minister by notice in the Gazette to be for the purposes of this Part the Local Authority for that town, district or area.
