Landing of lepers prohibited

(1) No leper, who is not a native of Belize or lawfully domiciled therein, shall land at any port of Belize from any place outside Belize. (2) The master of any vessel, who suffers or omits to prevent the landing from such vessel at any port in Belize of any person, not being a native of Belize or lawfully domiciled therein, whom he knows or has reasonable grounds for supposing to be a leper, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars.
