Security Services Commission

(1) There shall be established for Belize a Security (2) The members of the Security Services Commission shall be appointed by the Governor-General, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister given after consultation with the Leader of the Opposition, and shall consist of, (a) the Chairperson of the Public Services Commission, who shall be a member and Chairperson; (b) a former senior officer of the Belize Police Department; (c) a former senior officer of the Belize Defence (d) one person nominated by the Leader of the (e) one person from the private sector. 132
