Collection of fees, etc. in court

(1) In a district court a police officer or an officer of the Medical Department may, when authorised in writing by a medical officer so to do, appear and act for such medical officer for the purpose of collecting fees or charges for any professional services which a medical officer is directed or required to perform under the Medical Service and Institutions Act. (2) All fees or charges so collected shall be paid into the Treasury.
