Assaulting inmate or obstructing officer, etc

Every person who, 30 (a) being a person employed at the Mental Hospital, strikes, ill-treats or neglects any person of unsound mind or other person confined in a Mental Hospital, (b) strikes or ill-treats any person of unsound mind or other patient at the Mental Hospital while he is absent from the Hospital on trial, knowing him to be of unsound mind or a patient at the Mental Hospital, or (c) assaults, molests or obstructs any officer, servant or employee of the Mental Hospital while he is engaged in the performance of his duty as such officer, servant or employee, shall be guilty of an offence and on summary conviction shall be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred and fifty dollars.
