Power of visitors

(1) Every visitor is hereby empowered to visit any medical institution of which he is a visitor at any time, to make such inquiries as he may think fit regarding the measures adopted for the comfort and care of the inmates of such institution, and to enter in a book kept for the purpose in such institution any remarks he may wish to place on record regarding circumstances observed by him and arising out of such visit. (2) The powers granted under this section shall not be interpreted to include any right to inquire into, comment upon, or criticise any technical modes of treatment of the sick adopted by the medical officer in charge.
