Tuition and other school fees

(1) Citizens and permanent residents are entitled, as of right to be admitted to any government and government-aided primary school without payment of tuition fees. Special fees may be levied with the approval of the Chief Education (2) Citizens and permanent residents of Belize are entitled, as of right, to be admitted to any government secondary school without payment of tuition fees. Special fees may be levied with the approval of the Chief Education Officer. (3) Government-aided secondary and schools may charge tuition and special fees.
