Religious instruction

Religious instruction shall be given in every government and government-aided pre-school, primary and secondary school, subject to such rules as may be prescribed, provided that no child or registered pupil shall be obliged to undertake religious instruction if objection thereto is made in writing by either of his parents or otherwise communicated in reliable form which would be capable of being tendered in evidence in a court of law.
