Award of scholarship

(1) The scholarship shall be awarded on the results of the qualifying examination held in the preceding year, as those results are reported to the Chief Education Officer by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub regulation (1) of this Regulation, the scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of performance in the General Paper and in two Advanced Level subjects all to be taken at one and the same time, but only to a candidate who can satisfy university entrance requirements. (3) The name of the candidate awarded the scholarship shall be published in the Gazette with as little delay as possible after the receipt of the report and examination results from the Syndicate.
