Archive funds

(1) There shall be established a Fund to be known as the Archives Fund which shall be used for the efficient management of the Belize Archives and Records Service including the purchase of any record or archives which in the opinion of the Director, is or is likely to be of historical, cultural or literary value in relation to Belize. 18 (2) There shall be paid into the Archives Fund such sums as the National Assembly shall appropriate thereto, and any sums donated to it by way of bequest or otherwise.
