Arrangement with other entities

(1) NICH shall initiate consultations with other government and non-government entities performing various functions pertaining to the preservation and management of any heritage assets with the objective of formulating memoranda of understanding or other arrangements in writing between NICH and such other entities, which shall establish the mechanisms for coordination across jurisdictional lines and provide for the implementation of integrated programmes for the preservation and management of heritage assets. (2) Memoranda of understanding or other arrangements developed under this section and any other such arrangements developed thereafter may be amended from time to time, in order to further the objectives of this Act.
