Nuclear security of radioactive materials

(1) The licencee shall be primarily responsible for ensuring the nuclear security of radioactive material and related facilities pursuant to applicable regulations and licence (2) Where there has been theft, threat of theft, loss or loss of control over radioactive material, the licencee entitled to control the radioactive material shall– (a) notify the Office without delay of the incident and the circumstances; (b) provide a written report, including particulars to the Office as soon as practicable after giving notification under paragraph (a); and (c) provide the Office with any additional information requested.
