Transboundary emergency

Where a radiological emergency occurs that poses a risk that radioactive contamination could spread beyond the boundaries of Belize, the Office shall immediately notify the IAEA and the relevant authorities of any State which is, or may be physically affected by a release that could be of radiological significance for that State.
