National Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan

(1) The National Emergency Management Organization shall, in consultation with the Office, develop a National Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan for nuclear and radiological emergencies which it shall review periodically, at intervals of not more than three years. (2) The plan shall assign responsibilities for a systematic, coordinated, and effective response to a radiological emergency. (3) The Office shall provide the necessary advice to the National Emergency Management organization for effective response to any emergency, which may have consequences of radiation exposure.
