Designated officers and enforcement

(1) For the purposes of these Regulations, every member of the Police Department is a designated officer under the Act. (2) It shall be the duty of every member of the Police Department to enforce, using force if necessary, compliance with these Regulations, and for such purpose any member of the Police Department may, without a warrant– (a) enter any land; or Environmental Protection 321 (b) arrest any person who contravenes or is suspected on reasonable grounds of contravening these Regulations.
