Functions of the advisory committee

(1) The advisory committee shall consider the application of the project proponent against these Regulations, the Convention and the Kyoto Protocol, and recommend to the DNA whether or not the Project should be approved. (2) The advisory committee may recommend to the DNA to request for technical experts from such experts as it may wish to consult during the process of project evaluation, including the hiring of consultants, at a cost to be borne by the project proponent, to conduct site visits as required and to advise during project evaluation.
