Establishment of advisory committee

(1) Where a project application from a project proponent is received, the designated national authority may appoint and advisory committee to scrutinize the Project and make assessment against the sustainable development criteria as specified in the Third Schedule. (2) The advisory committee is comprised of at least five technical persons, at least one of whom shall be an expert from a non–state actor and any other four experts whom the DNA Environmental Protection 229 deems appropriate and qualified for the assessment of a particular Project. (3) Members of the advisory committee are appointed for the duration of evaluation of each CDM project.
