Disposal of ship, aircraft or other man-made structure

(1) No person shall dispose of any ship, aircraft, tanker or other man-made structure in any area of the sea except in accordance with a permit granted under section 17. (2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of sub- section (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not less than six months and not exceeding five years, or to both such fine and imprisonment. 27
