First certificate of title to be issued before transfer of land

General Registry Rules, r. 21 · Revised Edition 2020

No transfer of the legal title to any land, estate, interest, power or right shall be effected unless a first certificate of title has previously been issued in respect of such land, estate, interest, power or right.
