Memorandum of acknowledgment, etc

A memorandum of acknowledgment referred to in section 17 of the Evidence Act or a memorandum of proof of the deed, as the case may be, in the prescribed form, shall be indorsed upon or annexed to such deed, and such memorandum shall in every case be signed by the officer taking the acknowledgment or administering the oath, Provided that the public seal of Belize shall be sufficient evidence of the due execution of any letters patent or other deed whereunto it is set or affixed.
