Issue of certificate of title to term of years

(1) The Registrar shall, upon being satisfied that the deed is executed by the parties purporting to execute it, prepare in favour of the lessee a certificate of title to the term of years mentioned in the deed in the same manner and form in which he is directed by this Act to prepare and issue a certificate of title to freehold land, and he shall attach the deed to the registered duplicate, and a certified copy of the deed to the proprietor’s duplicate of the certificate of title. (2) All the provisions of this Act relating to the preparation and issue of the certificate of title to freehold land and the noting of legal charges and incumbrances thereon and the issue of new certificates of title on the transfer or transmission of the title thereto shall apply mutatis mutandis to a certificate of title to a 32
