Payment of fee upon engagement of another attorney

Legal Profession (Code Of Conduct) Rules, r. 51 · Revised Edition 2020

An attorney who instructs another attorney to act on behalf of his client shall, unless otherwise agreed, pay the proper fee of such attorney whether or not he has received payment from his client.
