Professional conduct, rules and quality care guidelines

(1) The Medical Council may– (a) prescribe rules governing the standards of professional ethics and conduct outlined in the Code of Ethics for medical practitioners, and such rules may provide that any breach thereof shall constitute professional misconduct; (b) advise the Minister on quality care guidelines and protocols; and (c) prescribe anything which may be or is required to be prescribed under this Part.
