Informal conferences to handle allegations of misconduct

(1) The Medical Council may, without prejudice to any other provisions under this Part, meet in informal conference with an accused medical practitioner and his complainant or their representatives who seek or agree to such a conference. (2) An order by the Medical Council as a result of such an informal conference and agreed to in writing by the Medical Council and the accused medical practitioner and the complainant shall be binding and be a matter of public record.
