Power to make rules

(1) The Minister may after consultation with the Registrar and the Belize Credit Union League make such rules as may be necessary or expedient for the purpose of carrying out or giving effect to the provisions and purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to his or her powers under other sections of this Act, the Registrar may after consultation with the Belize Credit Union League from time to time issue such orders, directions, circulars or guidelines, whether general or specific, as he or she may consider necessary or expedient for the efficient conduct of affairs of credit unions.
