Failure to comply with Act

(1) A credit union or any officer or member of the credit union or any other person, who fails without reasonable cause, or wilfully neglects, or refuses, to comply with any requirement of this Act or the rules, or with any order, summons or direction given under this Act or the rules, or who purporting to comply with any such requirement knowingly furnishes false or insufficient information, or who wilfully misuses the words “credit union”, commits an offence. (2) Any officer or member of a credit union who wilfully contravenes the by-laws of the credit union relating to his duties or functions as such officer or member, commits an offence.
