Obligation to register clubs

(1) No person shall keep or have possession of, or sell or supply, any excisable liquor in an unregistered club. (2) The secretary of every club which occupies a house or part of a house which is habitually used for the purposes of a club and in which any excisable liquor is to be supplied to members or their guests, or any other premises which are habitually so used and in which any excisable liquor is to be supplied, shall cause the club to be registered in the manner provided by this Act. (3) The registration of a club under this Act shall not constitute the club premises licensed premises within the meaning of the Intoxicating Liquor Licensing Act, Cap. 150, or authorise any sale of excisable liquor therein which would otherwise be illegal.
