Establishment of the Chamber

(1) There shall be established a body to be called “the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry” which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, having capacity to purchase, take, hold and dispose of land and other property of whatever kind, to enter into contracts, to sue and be sued in the said name and to do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act. (2) The persons who were members of the Chamber immediately before the commencement of this Act, and such persons as shall thereafter from time to time be duly admitted members thereof, shall comprise the membership of the Commerce and Industry 5
