Eligibility for practicing certificate

A member of the Institute shall be entitled to a practicing certificate if– (a) he satisfies the Council that he has been continuously a member in good standing of the Institute or of another recognised accounting body for a period of not less than two years; 15 (b) he satisfies the Council as to his professional competence; and (c) his application for a practicing certificate is accompanied by the prescribed fee.
