Amalgamation of trade unions, etc

Subject to the provisions of this Act, one trade union or employers’ organisation may amalgamate with another trade union or employers’ organisation and the new trade union or employers’ organisation formed therefrom shall assume all the rights, benefits and advantages, and be liable to all the duties and obligations of its predecessor organisations, unless the Supreme Court on good cause shown upon the application of an interested person orders otherwise.
