Chapters 317 and 250 not applicable to trade unions

The following Acts, that is to say, (a) the Friendly Societies Act, Cap. 317, and (b) the Companies Act, Cap. 250, and any Acts amending it, shall not apply to a trade union, and the registration of any trade union under any of the said Acts shall be void, and the deposit of the rules of any trade union made under the Friendly Societies Act, Cap. 317, before the commencement of this Act, shall cease to be of any effect.
