An administrator shall, where a former member becomes eligible to retire or reaches normal retirement age, or where a person becomes entitled to a benefit pursuant to the death of a former member, give to that former member or beneficiary a written statement setting out the prescribed information in respect of that person’s benefits, rights and options.
