Refusal of application

An application for use of the standard mark may be refused on any of the following grounds39 (a) that the evidence submitted revealed that the article or process in respect of which the licence is sought does not conform to the appropriate standard; (b) that the application was incomplete for the reason stated in regulation 14(2) above; (c) that the evaluation of the manufacturing process revealed a system of quality control or quality assurance that is inadequate to ensure continuous compliance with the appropriate standard; or (d) that the information provided by the manufacturer was invalid and not satisfactory to the Bureau.
