Complaints. Operations to cease by court order

(1) The Bureau may investigate complaints regarding goods, services, processes and practices referred to it by consumers and users and may institute legal proceedings against the manufacturer or other person supplying the defective goods or service or engaged in the defective process or practice. (2) Where, upon representations made by the Bureau, the court is of the opinion that any goods, service, process or practice is dangerous to the public or to the environment, the court may order the manufacturer or seller of the goods or the person supplying the service or engaged in the process or practice to cease such manufacturing, sales, services, or operations on such conditions as the court may decide.
