(8) An Inspector may prosecute in courts of summary jurisdiction in cases arising from violations of this Act or the regulations made thereunder. 19.-(1) There is hereby established a Standards Advisory Council for the purpose of advising the Minister on all matters appertaining to standardisation, with particular reference to the following, (a) improvement of goods produced or used in Belize; (b) ensuring industrial efficiency and development; and (c) promoting public and industrial welfare, health and safety. (2) The provisions of the Schedule to this Act shall have effect in regard to the constitution, practice and procedure of the Standards Advisory Council, and the said Schedule may, from time to time, be amended by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette.
