Refusal to produce weight, etc., for inspection

Any person who refuses to produce a weight or measure or weighing or measuring instrument when required to do so by the Director, the Chief Weights and Measures Inspector or an Inspector lawfully acting in accordance with this Act or who resists or obstructs that person in the lawful exercise of his duties is guilty of an offence and shall, on summary conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
