Use of unstamped standards etc., by Inspectors

(1) No Inspector shall use any Working Standard for the purpose of testing any weight or measure at any time after the expiry of a period of two years from the date on which that standard was last stamped as correct under section 7 of this Act. (2) No Inspector shall use for the purposes of this Act a weighing or measuring instrument which is provided for his use unless that instrument has been verified in the prescribed manner. 23
