Application of certain Regulations to goods being considered for inclusion in these Regulations

Whenever the Minister declares by publication in the Gazette that a particular industry or trade or section of industry or trade or a particular commodity or type of commodity whether manufactured or produced in this country or abroad is being considered for inclusion in these Regulations, then such powers of search and inspection as well as powers to demand information or statutory declarations as are by these Regulations granted to persons in respect of goods encompassed by these Regulations shall to the like extent apply to all goods as are encompassed in the Minister’s declaration.
